The BALAJI created by renowned artist Edouard Jud pays homage to Lord Balaji, the reincarnation of Vishnu in his supreme form. This is the first limited edition in the pen world to pay tribute to Lord Balaji and is created entirely by hand by Caran d Ache craftsmen. The Balaji Limited Edition pen is a unique blend of finesse and precision and carries the image of the God not only on the external cage but is also delicately sculpted on the clip. Encased in solid silver is a matt black lacquer body, symbolic of Lord Balaji s dark body and is crowned with a carnelian stone often associated with power, ambition, healing properties, positive energy and longevity of life.His face is covered with a Tilak to protect the universe from the intensity of his eyes, a reminder of the strength of his divine power. The Shanka (conch shell) is a symbol of creation from the depths of the ocean. In his hand, the Lord Balaji holds a Chakra, a symbol of power. His crown represents the unknowable reality of existence and confirms the supremacy of Vishnu. The Balaji Limited Edition is part of the Divinities theme in the Caran d'Ache Artiste Collection. It completes the series dedicated to Buddha, Ganesh and Shiva, produced in collaboration with Switzerland’s most famous Jeweller Edouard Jud.
