CROMWELL: The Conway Stewart Cromwell has been crafted in commemoration of Oliver Cromwell, one of England?s most prominent historical figures. Oliver Cromwell was an English military and political leader best known for his involvement in making England a republican Commonwealth. After the execution of King Charles I in 1649, Cromwell dominated the short-lived Commonwealth of England, conquered Ireland and Scotland, and ruled as Lord Protector from 1653 until his death in 1658. Carefully crafted from solid sterling silver, the Conway Stewart Cromwell Limited Edition follows the shape and size of the popular Elegance series. With a cap and barrel embellished with crisp guilloche engraving in an elegant cascading brocade pattern, covered with rich, gleaming crimson enamel, this majestic writing instrument is a fine testament of Conway Stewarts dedication to crafting unique writing instruments. The glowing red cap and barrel are accented with a clip, a cap band, and a barrel end, all in smooth sterling silver, polished to a perfect finish. The section of this fine pen has also been crafted from solid sterling silver, making the Cromwell an instrument that balances perfectly in the hand. The nib has been carefully masked with bright rhodium to match the silver of the trim. The Cromwell uses the reliable cartridge converter filling mechanism and is presented in Conway Stewart?s trademark luxury packaging, easily living up to its namesake: vivid, dynamic and larger than life.Limited to 200 numbered dynamic writing instruments worldwide.
